Fuel tanks are black iron and were epoxy paint coated early in their life as well as protected from salt water spray from the shaft logs by the plexiglass shields so we have NEVER had a rust problem.

Cruise to Catalina Island get 1.7 mpg, gets up to 18+ knots full out and will do 13-14 at 2150 rpm (very easy on the engines) and lots of new major parts on engines.

Long-life coolant and distilled water used in cooling system and NO cooling problems.

FULL MAINTENANCE RECORDS!!!!!
